Sierra Leone Exports 23,000 Carats of Gem Diamonds in July 2009


According to the latest information available, diamond shipments from Sierra Leone fell to 23,000 carats in the month of July 2009. The country’s diamond shipments, including both industrial diamonds and gem quality stone, were down by over 18% in July compared to July 2008.
