Luxury brand Gucci, known for its fashion items and jewelry, and the Christie’s auction house have launched ‘Gucci Collector: Presented by Christie’s'—the very first Gucci-certified online destination for appraising vintage Gucci products. The result of a unique partnership between the House of Gucci and Christie’s auctioneers, the unprecedented service has been developed for avid Gucci collectors and enthusiasts alike.
A dedicated section on www.christies.com allows owners to upload photos of their vintage items and submit an appraisal request. A team of Christie’s experts as well as Gucci’s own in-house archivists will assess the item, and Christie’s will provide an auction estimate for qualifying submissions. Select owners will also have the opportunity to sell their items to Gucci, or in a future Christie’s auction, if desired.
The Gucci brand has a rich 89-year history.
