Tiffany & Co. introduces a sparkling new jewelry collection that celebrates spring’s ritual of renewal and nature as a key inspiration of Tiffany design.
Tiffany Garden is based on diamond floral created by legendary jewelry designer Paulding Farnham (1859-1927), whose vision of American design was shaped by the landscape’s untamed beauty. Trained in botanic illustration Farnham was chief designer of Tiffany’s exhibits that won gold medals at the great world expositions in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. These awards established Tiffany & Co. as the undisputed leader in the world of jewels.
Tiffany Garden reflects this legacy with diamonds and colored gemstones such as amethysts in the traditional rose cut, an early faceting style that resembles the petals of a budding rose, and round brilliant cut. Together the brilliant stones capture spring’s fresh exuberance in dazzling blossoms, in a garden path’s sparkling cobblestones, and in the fluttering wings of a butterfly, bee and dragonfly. These delicate garden scenes, set in platinum and 18 karat rose and yellow gold, highlight the fragility not only of flowers and wildlife, but also the nonrenewable materials that form Tiffany Garden.
As one of the world’s premier jewelers, Tiffany & Co. has taken a leadership role in promoting responsible sourcing of precious metals and gemstones. The precious metals in Tiffany Garden are obtained only from mines that meet high standards of social and environmental performance. Diamonds are sourced from countries where diamond mining contributes to broader economic and social development goals. These and other efforts are designed to nurture beauty that lasts, the essence of Tiffany’s promise to our customers.
The Tiffany Garden collection is available at select Tiffany & Co. stores worldwide. More information is available at tiffany.com.
