Lab-Grown Diamonds Company Expects to Produce Blue Diamonds up to 1.5 Carats This Year

D.NEA Diamonds, which produces diamond in a laboratory, says that it has been producing blue diamonds of reliable quality of up to 1.3 carats.

“We will continue producing more blues in the sizes we currently have available, and possibly some up to 1.5ct later this summer and fall,” says Eric Franklin, CEO of the company.

“Whites have always been difficult, though we are making progress. Many of our machines will be switching from research and experimentation into production for whites. We will see better quantities of whites over the next few months, though most will likely remain under one carat. We will also begin growing more pure yellows in larger sizes soon.”
