Another health startup closed

Ukrainian startup Mevics, which created special gadgets for health, closed, said today Ukrainian news agency “Dom Innovaciy”. Founder and CEO of Mevics Viktor Laushtan didn’t commented this news because of the agreement with investors.

Startup will publish official press-release in few days, said “Dom Innovaciy”.

Mevics — special gadget that analyse health when you are sitting and inform you when you are sitting wrong and when you need to do fitness. Startup was founded by 3 students of OPI (Ukrainian Tech University), Viktor Laushtan, Maksim Tribunskiy and Vladislav Morzhanov.

First prototype was presented in july of 2016, in december team raised $500 000. In july of 2017 they published themself at KickStarter but didn’t reach the goal.

Designers have already left the team. CEO of the company moved to Selfllery.
