Jewelry for celebrities: Super Bowl Ring Returned to NFL Legend

Former Chicago Bear and Los Angeles Raider NFL receiver Willie Gault had his 1985 Super Bowl Ring stolen in a residential burglary on November 8, 2011, he thought that this ring is real jewelry for celebrities.

On December 15, 2011, LAPD West Valley Burglary and Property Crimes Unit recovered the ring at a jewelry store in the 700 block of South Broadway within the Jewelry Mart District of Central Division. Also recovered were five stolen watches and a wedding ring. A 1983 Super Bowl ring was also taken into custody.  The LAPD is investigating to locate the rightful owner of that item. Detectives said that a source that deals in sports memorabilia contacted West Valley Burglary Detectives and advised that the ring had been seen at the store

The store owner, 46-year-old Ramin Cohan of Beverly Hills was arrested and booked at Valley Jail Section for Receiving Stolen Property (496 PC) with a bail amount of 20,000 dollars.
